Fine Brass Polish


Brass is an alloy made from melting copper with a small amount of zinc.  This alloy become very popular due to its strength, beauty, malleability, resistance to corrosion, and its ability to hold up against extreme temperatures.

Fine Brass Polish
Starting Point Formulation

% by weight

TERGITOL™ TMN-6 Surfactant
Sodium Hexametaphosphate (anhydrous)
Aminoacetic Acid (technical grade)
Propylene Glycol
Aluminum Silicate

  • Polishes brass, copper, and silver
Preparation Add aminoacetic acid, propylene glycol, and TERGITOL TMN-6 to water. Then add sodium hexametaphosphate and aluminum silicate. Mix well. Thickeners can added as desired.  

Use Instructions For heavy-duty cleaning, use as prepared. Dilute 1 part of the cleaner with 1 - 2 parts of water for all other cleaning jobs.
